METSV says: These are so cute and perfect for tossing in your pocketbook or pocket for that matter! They'll even fit in your skinny jeans pocket! These are truly sheer and perfect for summer nights to compliment a rosy or bronzed glow. These will look exceptionally good if you're doing a more defined, smoky eye...you'll get a hint of sexy, soft color on your lips. If you're looking for glosses that scream color, then these won't be for you, however, worn over a lipstick or darker color lip stain, they may just be the ticket. I have the glosses in Buff and Naked. Naked has a bit more shimmer and is more on the champagne-y side while Buff is a soft peachy-pink. Both are really pretty, go on effortlessly, are not sticky and have pretty decent staying power. I'm finding I use these on weekends when I have barely there makeup on, or even when I'm heading to the gym just so that I don't look like a total wreck! So funny, I was putting one on in my car the other night right before I was heading in the gym and my sister texted me - (she must have seen me) and said "what's with putting on your lips before a workout?" Hey, a girl has to look her best even when she's a sweaty mess. The Naked Beauty Collection is a must-have for this summer.
cakedoo1 says... OK, who doesn't love Smshbox? I know I am always eager for changes of seasons and holidays, because I know that means in Smashbox introductions.. Having said that, the Naked Collection is born! If you have looked at a magazine then you know that this season is showing lots of nude colors in clothing, shoes and cosmetics. I especially love a nude lip so I was so excited to get this in.. I couldn't be greedy and hoard all 8 colors - even thought I really wanted too. What Smashbox has done with this collection is give us the ability to try out all of the colors, there is no commitment to one color.. I love the Smashbox formulas! I think it's so smooth and soft on my lips. It's got a glass like shine that give a lovely vibrancy to my look.. I got this gloss in Buff - I have been using it all week.. It's a light baby pinky beige and it's perfect on my, I am very pale so I like to have a nude lip with a pop on the eye and this fits right into the look for me. Also this isn't heavy and goopy, it's light but coats my lips and feels buttery smooth on. I do touch up during the day.. I have been wearing this for a few days now and am hoping that I can buy a full sized bare, it's gorgeous! (Bare is the 4th color from the left)
Lilmissashley says...These little Smashbox glosses are fabulous! I tried these out in two colors, pure (2nd from the right) and nude (1st from the left). Pure looked a bit too bright for me when it was in the tube, and I have to admit... a bit brighter than the picture above. However, after applying I saw a much more subtle pinkish color. It was very natural looking but still very glossy and makes my lips pop. The nude color was a bit more subtle and natural… great for the workplace .It made my lips look amazing without overdoing it. This would be a great color if you want to tone down your lips, especially if you have a bright eye shadow on or something. Out of the two colors, I favored the nude slightly more. It matched more outfits and I am so used to wear pinkish/reddish colors that it was so refreshing to try a different color for once! Both glosses had the sweetest taste/scent to them. It wasn’t overwhelming, but a definite treat..especially if you touch up mid day... which I did. They are also just the right size for a travel gloss. You can just toss one ( or all 8) in your purse and you’re all set! AMAZING!
Makeup Addict has been using Smashbox ~ Naked Beauty Lip Gloss Collection in Natural and Sunkissed -- and when I mix them Natural Sun Kissed! Smashbox has done it again--these are the greatest colors for spring and summer (and I am going to use mine in Fall and Winter also). But these are absolutely perfect for the Spring and Summer days. As always Smashbox provides us with creamy light lip gloss. They go on so smoothly and feel so soft, smooth, light and creamy. There is no stickiness or waxy feel to them at all. The gloss is outstanding -- they really do shine! There is not one color in the collection that I don't absolutely love. Remember, you can mix them to get a completely different tone and look. They stay on pretty well and my lips are loving them -- no chapped lips. I will admit that I sometimes cheat -- I also apply to my cheeks for a light blush which I love in the heat. Hey, I am assured of matching lips and cheeks that way. The price is right for such a collection that you will treasure.
