Music for Your Monday!

I LOVE musicals. I love that when the music appears in a scene, no one finds it strange or looks for the source. I love that everyone knows the words (even crowds of strangers) AND, in some cases, the same choreographed moves. I would love constant musical accompaniment in my day (not just from my Ipod), especially if everyone around me just happened to be singing the same song! The music universally deepens our understanding of and connection to the emotion of the scene. Would I cry in greeting card commercials were it not for the sentimental swelling of music as the grandmother delicately opens the card with the crayon-scrawled signature inside? I think not. :) Not to mention, music makes everything much more enjoyable--even MONDAYS!

So, on this Monday, I begin the soundtrack for your day (and mine)!

"Little Red Corvette" by Prince (from Amazon)--The sun is shining (here, at least) and who doesn't want to be out in a little red corvette?!
